Consultant - Behaviour Support Specialist
Lucy works for My Disability Practitioners on a contractor basis and is a registered practitioner with the NDIS Commission. Lucy has also completed her undergraduate qualification with a Bachelor of Psychology Degree. Lucy has eight years’ experience within the disability sector. Starting out within adult day program services and group homes working for a large not for profit disability provider, Lucy has developed extensive hands on experience in behaviour support. Lucy’s passion for working in the disability sector developed further with families in intense crisis.In recent years, Lucy has been working with children with complex needs, including mental health and trauma backgrounds which has helped form her skills in mental health disorders and cognitive disabilities. Lucy engages with people collaboratively, without judgement, seeking to build an understanding and find practical solutions to their support needs and to integrate holistic, evidence-based practice to her work.
